Nana Ama Asare is an Associate with the Corporate Commercial practice group of the firm. She provides general legal advice and support in areas such as intellectual property, employment, due diligence, and data protection. She regularly advice clients on trademarks, regulatory compliance, immigration, data protection, employment and corporate governance. She has advised clients in the technology, food, telecommunications, shipping, airline industries and non-governmental organisations. 

Nana Ama holds an LLB from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Ghana(KNUST)  and a qualifying certificate from the Ghana School of Law. She is a member of the Ghana Bar Association. 


  • Advised client on the law on automated decision making under the Data Protection Act and the use of automated testing as part of the company’s hiring policies.
  • Advised client, an exporter, on taxes, trade agreements, transfer pricing, bonded warehouse, free zone, duty drawbacks, and tax refunds.
  • Advised client on Ghanaian immigration laws and obtaining a work permit.
  • Advised clients on NFTs in Ghana.
  • Drafted employment policies.
