In 1990, Kojo Bentsi-Enchill and his classmate and debating partner Divine K.D Letsa founded the firm. Over the past three decades, the firm has built a reputation as a leading corporate and commercial firm in Ghana.

This timeline provides a brief history of the firm with some of the key milestones over the years.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We have established initiatives that allow our employees to participate and contribute to charitable causes and programs, which provide training and mentorship to future generations. We also sponsor and partner with law departments in colleges and universities, helping to shape the future generation of legal professionals.

Partnerships

We partner with businesses (built on similar values and culture) to support emerging businesses through workshops, legal clinics, and webinars. Our Incubator Support Partnership, spearheaded by our Financial Institutions and Capital Markets Practice Group and our Corporate Commercial Practice Group enables us to collaborate with young entrepreneurs and incubator programs providing them with guidance and professional legal advice while creating networking opportunities for them.

Pro bono

We continuously encourage our lawyers to use their expertise and talents to undertake pro-bono cases. Our lawyers assist pro bono clients with legal representation and help them understand and exercise their rights irrespective of their social standing or background.

Employee Inclusion

Inclusion and our employees’ well-being are critical to our firm’s success. One of our top priorities is to empower our staff and make them feel protected, appreciated, and recognized so they can fulfil their full potential.
